Photo Evaluation

Various groups of the school are involved in this evaluation method: students, teachers, principals, secretaries, etc., so that different points of view are taken into account.

They are asked to take pictures focussing on a specific aspect, which can be very open (e.g. What do we like about our school, what don’t we like, what is typical of our school) or more concrete (e.g. communication of students during breaks).

These photos are presented, evaluated and discussed in an exhibition in order to initiate changes as well as to point out strong points already existing.

This method proves to be very apt for attracting the attention of a wider group of people, as it is eye-catching and thus arousing more interest than the results of questionnaires or texts.

Furthermore this method can be very motivating as groups or individuals can become more active and creative.
