SWOT analysis

Strong points of the project

Developed school especially on grassroot level:

Added cooperation  between teachers in the school in a new way (teachers doing evaluation together, teachers of different subjects working together

New tools for evaluation, tools quick to use, spare time, anyway give lots of information

Added openness in working with students and also with colleagues

Added cooperation with foreign teachers:  We learned to know new ways of thinking, got new ideas, learned about new cultures, saw different types of schools   and we learned very much from each partner  We became more European/international teachers as we know more about European school systems and ways of working in the schools

Students were also offered possibilities to see European schools and do comparisons , to get acquainted with other cultures and in meetings held in their own schools they could show their skills when serving guests, preparing  and serving food, guiding, entertaining guests

The school had a good possibility to let students do their studies (following the curricula) in a real international atmosphere

Sefes-project fulfilled the ongoing quality work in the school

A new Sefes folder with access to everybody who is interested

Weak points

Not so many

Web-pages : updating didn’t succeed at all     - It did’nt happen

Next time a person who is interested inand committed to the work should be chosen to be an updator

Changing of participants for different reasons

Three years maybe too long time for this kind of project

Language problem: Project language English, but some partners didn’t understand English (in the beginning of the project)

Opportunities

We can develop more simple, easy-to- use tools together with students and teachers and spread the idea to other departments of our big institution  We are already asked to do that by the principal of our institution
